Apartment & Condo Woodworking

2019-03-29T08:06:20-05:00

Rented (and Condo ownership) storage units are popping up everywhere. Some have electricity and some don't. Some are climate controlled and others are not. Depending where you live, your projects, your tools and budget a storage unit may be your ideal woodworking venue. We no longer need to have this huge area filled with 110v and 220v power tools. Let's look at combining 18v technology, with "off-the-shelf-lumber" and some of the other approaches discussed on this website to step outside of our workshops.

Woodworking At Retail Stores

2019-03-29T07:59:42-05:00

There are the two major chain stores, Woodcraft and Rockler, and there are single-shop woodworking stores everywhere. There are also lumber retailers, frequently specialty lumber such as hardwoods, reclaimed or ... that have both the space and power tools for woodworking. Many offer hands-on demos, workshops, classes.. while others maybe need simply to be asked to offer workshops...

2019-03-29T08:08:11-05:00

We retired. We bought a 34' Fifth-Wheel RV. We want to see the US and Canada. We're doing it! That being said there is no way I am going to leave woodworking back home. This article is all about "Woodworking on the Road" (or in a parking lot, or on a beach or... :-)

Wheelchair Accessible Woodworking

2019-03-29T08:08:33-05:00
